Myrtle Wolff

October 31, 1922 — May 3, 2016

Myrtle Ida Wolff, 93, passed away May 3, 2016. She was born on October 31, 1922 in Appleton, WI, to Arnold and Selma (Schwamer) Mollet. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1940. She enjoyed cooking, baking and dancing. Helmuth A. “Bud” Wolff Jr. and Myrtle crossed paths in high school and were married on July 17, 1943 in Appleton, WI. She loved to go to the Cinderella Ballroom to dance polka's with her husband. The family travelled in a car cross country to California as well as Niagara Falls. Myrtle and “Bud” also ventured to Hawaii and Germany. The boys ate well at Mom's kitchen with her cookies and angel food cake being highlights. Most of all Myrtle enjoyed just being with her family.

Myrtle is survived by her four sons: James (Judy) Wolff, Robert (Linda) Wolff, Ronald (Betty) Wolff and Rev. Michael Wolff, her 12 grandchildren: Christina, Jami, Jenni, Lenny, Jeremy, Brenda, Paul, Katherine, Joshua, Whitney, Lisa and Jonathon, 23 great-grandchildren, and one sister: Joyce Heckner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband “Bud”.

The Funeral Service for Myrtle will be on Friday May 6, 2016 at 11 AM at ST. LUKE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 705 Greenfield Dr. Little Chute, WI. Rev. Ronald Szep presiding. Private interment Highland Memorial Park. Family and friends may gather Friday May 6th, at the CHURCH, from 9 AM until time of Service.

Memorials in Myrtle's name may be made out to St. Luke Ev. Lutheran Church and/or the Alzheimer's and Dementia Alliance of WI.
