Mildred Schumacher

MILDRED SCHUMACHER
Formerly of Appleton

Age 95, died Thursday, December 26, 2002, at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. Mildred was born on August 27, 1907, in Maple Creek, Wisconsin, to the late Anthony and Mary Alice (Bodah) Young. She married Albert W. Schumacher on May 15, 1928; he preceded her in death on December 3, 1978.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth (Lila) Schumacher, Freedom; Evon (Roy) Vander Putten, Jupitor, Florida; and Janice (Bob) Onkel, Kaukauna; her 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; her sisters, Arbella Seeglink, New London, Mary Jane Lemke, New London, Jeanette Guyette, New London; and Vivian Siebers, Kaukauna. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Schumacher, her sister, Louisa Helser, and her brothers, Walter, Ervin, and Anton Young.

The funeral liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2002, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 South State Street, Appleton, with Fr. Michael O’Rourke officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial has been established in her name.
