Mary Jane Miller Niesen, 70, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Manor Care. She was born on November 12, 1939 in Appleton to the late Walter and Helen Miller. Mary worked at the Appleton Yacht Club before she was united in marriage to Joseph Niesen, her true soul mate. They enjoyed many adventures and road trips together. She also enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, square dancing and camping. Laughter came easy to Mary. She is survived by her brother; Roger (Nancy) Miller, a sister; Patricia Winter, her step sons; Paul, Tim (Gerda), and Brad Niesen, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Joseph and a sister Joan Duwe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at HOLY CROSS (309 Desnoyer St. Kaukauna) with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:30 until the time of services at the Church. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
