Marion DeCoster, age 76 years, died Friday, August 11, 2006, at Brewster Village. She was born August 20, 1929, in Combined Locks, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Verhagen) DeCoster. Marion was employed by St. Elizabeth Hospital and was a long-time resident of Combined Locks and Brewster Village.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Peggy DeCoster, many nieces and nephews, and her legal guardian, Kathleen DeWitt. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lucina Miller, and brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Richard, Joseph, Lester, Robert, and Chester.
A Memorial Mass for Marion will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 Wallace St., Combined Locks, with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. A time of fellowship and a luncheon will follow in the parish hall.
