Marie Belevtsov Larson

Marie Belevtsov Larson, age 81, of Appleton, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, December 20, 2012, surrounded by her family. Marie was born in Russia on December 5, 1931, to the late Nikita and Feodosia (Mishnov) Belevtsov. She married Millard Larson on February 10, 1952, in Philadelphia ; he preceded her in death on August 27, 1984. Marie was a long-time member of Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church and was a member of the church choir and also volunteered at the school library for many years. She was especially proud of being a grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her children, Walter (Sandy) Larson, Manitowoc; Valerie (Jeff) Dreier, Appleton; Michael (Mary) Larson, Darboy; Paul (Marsha) Larson, New London; Suzane Larson, Long Beach, California; and John (Tracy) Larson, Appleton; her grandchildren, Matt, Mark (Jessica) Larson, Melanie (Nick) O'Leary, Lara Dreier (Chad Walker), Andrea Larson, David Larson, Samantha (Drew) Anderson, and Drew Larson; and her sister, Eve (John) Cech, Gainsville, Florida; her step-grandchildren, Trevor Hintz, Emma Hintz, Jada Lettenberger, Jason (Angela) Lettenberger and Justin Lettenberger; her great grandchildren, Amelia, Evelynn and Elaine O'Leary; Jackson Larson; her step-great grandchildren, Owen, Gavin and Nolan Lettenberger. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Nikolai Belevtsov. Abiding by Marie's wishes, private family funeral services will be held at MOUNT OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 E. Florida Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. Robert Raasch officiating. A memorial has been established in her name. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you for the loving care extended to Mom by the staffs at St. Elizabeth Hospital Four South, Two South and the Emergency Room, in addition to all of the medical professionals who helped Mom through her many medical challenges.
