Age 76, passed away at Grand Horizons on Thursday, September 1, 2011. She was born in Reynoldsville, WV on June 10, 1935 the daughter of the late Harry and Klondel (Collins) Riddle. “Grandma Duke,” or more recently, “Corky,” worked for over 20 years as a unit clerk at Appleton Medical Center. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and loved her cats; but will be remembered for being a huge and avid Vikings Fan.

Luella is survived by her children: Bambi Cork of Kaukauna, Ronald W. (Lori) Cork, Jr. of Black River Falls, and Darron (Jamie) Cork of Inver Grove Heights, MN; seven grandchildren: Adam, Ryan, Abby Bellin, Brittany and Micayla Cork, and Jessica and Jacquie Lehman; three great-grandchildren: Kyanna, Brielle and Amarianna; brother, Byrl (Linda) Collins; brother-in-law, Don Harman; and sister-in-law, Helen Collins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Harmon; brother, William Collins; and her former husband, Ronald Cork.

The memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Fargo Funeral Home, with Rev. Nolan Gnewuch officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family extends a special thank you to all the caregivers at Grand Horizons; and ThedaCare at Home Hospice, especially Terri, Mary, Julie and Ida. Further, a heartfelt thank you is extended to Luella's private caregivers: Penny, Pat, Claire, Jean, Dan, Sr. Marie and Peggy for their wonderful care.

Memorials in Luella's name will be given to the Humane Society.
