Lucille Iola Knaack

July 22, 1914 — June 30, 2001

Age 86, passed away on Saturday June 30, 2001 at Franciscan Care Center. Lucille was born the daughter of the late Louis and Freida, on July 22, 1914 in the Town of Center. She attended Center Valley School. She studied at a local beauty school and continued this work personally for friends and relatives. She then worked for Zwicker Knitting Mill and retired after 25 years. Lucille was baptized and confirmed at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Center and after moving to Appleton in 1953 she joined St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Lucille is survived by her son, Daniel (Elizabeth) Knaack, Appleton; two brothers, Milton , Appleton and LeVern (Dorothy), Appleton; one sister, Ruby Kuchenbecker, Appleton, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Arleen Timm; two brothers-in-law, Marlyn Timm and John Kuchenbecker; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude and Bernice.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday July 3, 2001 at ST. PAUL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH (302 North Morrison) at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John C. Baumann officiating. Friends will be received on Monday July 2, 2001 at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. and again on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
