Age 95, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2006, at Brewster Village. She was born on January 23, 1910 in Woonsocket, South Dakota, daughter of the late Guy and Bernice (Birge) Bellows. She married Joseph G. Heyl in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1982. Lola assisted Joseph in establishing a number of business ventures including an auto dealership, a bowling alley, a hardware store and an accounting firm. She enjoyed entertaining, golfing, writing poetry and playing the piano.

Lola is survived by her children: Dr. Bruce Heyl (Diana), Menasha; and Sandra Heyl, Appleton, a sister, Ruth Muller, Souix Falls, South Dakota; grandchildren: Bruce Heyl Jr., Daniel Scott Heyl, and Erica Heyl-Long.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Wichmann Funeral Home – Tri-County Chapel. Pastor Martin Ruge will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. A memorial is being established.
