Age 90, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2004 at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. She was born in Kaukauna on May 16, 1913, daughter of the late John and Mae (Fell) Conlon and married Leon “Happy” Van Lieshout in September of 1936. Survivors include a daughter: Constance (Don) DeBruin of Menomonee Falls; a son: Thomas (Janet) Van Lieshout of Appleton; five grandchildren: Steven DeBruin, Dena (Greg) Brown, Tim (Brigid) DeBruin, Jessica (Benjamin) Jagoe, and Trisha Van Lieshout; five great-grandchildren: Lindsay Rude, Spencer Brown, Piper Brown, Terra DeBruin, and Bailey DeBruin. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and by eight brothers and sisters.

The funeral liturgy will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the services.
