Jeanne Ann Speering

Jeanne Ann Speering, 71, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Appleton Medical Center. Jean was born on October 21, 1940 to Curtis and Hildegard (Schoenick) Winter in Shawano. She married the love of her life, Duane Speering Sr. on November 21, 1959 and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1996. Jeanne's family was the most important to her and she valued her friends and the friendships she had. She enjoyed baking, the Packers, her roses, and her church. Jeanne's family meant everything to her and the time they spent will always be cherished. She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.

Jeanne is survived by her four children; Laurie (Perry) Peterman of Neenah, Duane (Lisa) Speering Jr. of Appleton, Michelle (Jamie) Lyons of Appleton, Brian (Heather) Speering of Appleton, nine grandchildren; Jeremy (Jennifer) Peterman, Melissa (Paul) Schraufnagel, Ashley (Sergio) Meraz, Kyle Speering, Amanda, Zachary, Courtney, Jackson Lyons, and Abby Speering, her great grandchildren, Addison Meraz and Ariyana Peterman. Jeanne is further survived by her siblings, Roger (Mabel) Winter, Nancy (Bob) Martin, Richard (Maureen) Winter, Jim (Myrna) Winter, Mary Wastel and Mike (Paula) Winter, a very dear friend Mary Welsh, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents her husband Duane, a sister, Betty (Bob) Decoster, her father-in-law, Ervin Speering and her mother-in-law, Doris Speering Raymaker.

The memorial service for Jeanne will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at OUR SAVIOUR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (3009 N. Meade St.) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kurt Hoffman officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
