Age 72, passed away on Monday June 18, 2001. Jean was born on May 9, 1929, the daughter of the late Roy and Agnes Van Ryzin. Jean graduated from Appleton High School in 1947. In 1948 Jean married the late Clarence B. Schiltz and together had 5 children, and then remarried in 1973 to Michael H. Michalski Sr. and adopted 3 children and moved to Liberty, Missouri. She returned to Wisconsin in February of 2000 to live with her son Jesse.

Jean is survived by her children, Jesse (Jane) Schiltz, Neenah; Paul (Betty) Schiltz, Green Bay; Michael (Amy) Michalski Jr., San Diego, CA; Debra (Shawn) Rogers, Liberty, Missouri; and David Michalski, Liberty, Missouri; two sisters, Geraldine Albers, Kimberly and Monica Wildenberg, Little Chute. She was preceded in death by 3 children, Jeffrey Paul, Christina Marie, and Terry Ann.

The funeral liturgy will be on Thursday June 21, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Bible Church (1450 Oakridge Road, Neenah) with Pastor Harry Shields officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service (10:00 a.m.).
