Age 55, passed away suddenly at her home. She was born on May 22, 1949 in Appleton the daughter of Bertram and Jean (Cavert) Day. She attended grade school in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and graduated from Coronado High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jean graduated from Arizona State University and also held a degree from the University of Wiscosin-Oshkosh in accounting. She then returned to the Fox Valley and Appleton and had lived here since. Jean was employed in the Fox Valley in the field of bookkeeping and accounting.
She is survived by her mother Jean E. Day of Phoenix, Arizona, her sister Mary A. Day of Gilbert, Arizona, her two brothers Geoff Day of Appleton and Meyer, Arizona, and Stewart Day of Mesa, Arizona; a niece Heather Day of Neenah, and a nephew Jason Day of Waupaca. She was preceded in death by her father Bertram A. Day.
A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, October 4, 2004 at 12:00 AM at Wichmann Funeral Home with Deacon Roy Baumruk officiating. Friends may call at Wichmann funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
