Loving wife, mother, grandmother, age 84, died on Friday, June 7, 2002, at Appleton Medical Center. Jane was born on April 14, 1918, daughter of the late Chester and Emily (Woeckner) Held. She married Bernard Guibord on August 28, 1954, and they enjoyed over 36 years of marriage together. Jane was employed as a factory worker at Kimberly Clark for 13 years. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Spring and summer months were Jane's favorite time of the year, and she loved riding her bike, sitting in the sun and gardening. Jane enjoyed sitcoms, especially comedies. She also loved spending time with her grandson, shopping, cooking for her family, reading, crossword puzzles, and playing bingo with her friends. Jane will be greatly missed by her sons, Greg and Thomas Guibord; and her grandson, Brett. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 209 South Allen Street, Appleton, with Rev. Ray Claussen officiating. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. The family would like to thank the staff at Peabody Manor and Appleton Medical Center for their loving care of Jane.
