Age 72, passed away on Wednesday, March 06, 2002 at his home.

Survivors include his sons Michael J. (Ronda) Van Linn, Dennis C. (Peggy) Van Linn all of Appleton, and David B. (Mary) Van Linn of Olathe, Kansas; his daughters Catherine A. (Michael) Fane of Appleton, and Debra J. Bennett of Henderson, Nevada. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren Julie, Eric, Brook, Paul, Nicole, and Amanda Fane; and Michael, Matthew, Amy, Melissa, and Ryan Bennett; his brother Marlyn Uhl of Gainesville, Florida; and his sisters Elaine Cartwright of Appleton, and Lucille (Arthur) Zierzon of Green Lake, WI.

He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice, his sisters June and Jeanette, a brother Eugene, and his great grandson Phillip Thompson.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 8, 2002 at 11:00 AM at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 EAST FREMONT STREET with the Rev. Robert Karuhn officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the services. A memorial fund is being established.
