Hubert Thomas Forster

Hubert Thomas Forster, age 84, died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. He was born on May 23, 1925, the son of the late Rudolph and Anna (Stein) Forster. Hub was a veteran of the Navy who served his country honorably. He worked as a boiler operator for Consolidated Newspapers for 25 years until his retirement. Hub was a loving father of six children who enjoyed camping, boating and the outdoors. He always put others before himself and above all, loved to spend time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Hub is lovingly survived by his children: Jim (Mary) Forster, Ann Hajenga, Ronny Forster, Debbie Forster, Randy (Dawn) Forster, Ricky Forster; grandchildren: Stephanie, Sean, Rachel, Jacob, Sarah, John, Adam, Becky, Tara; great-grandchildren: Andre, Brandon, Chianti, Hailey, Gabe, sister, Helen North and good family friend, Eugene Otte. He is preceded in death by several brothers, sisters and in-laws.

Funeral services for Hub will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2010, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. The committal will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Hub has been established.
