Age 73, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 21, 2002 at home. He was born March 11, 1929 to the late John and Pauline (Klinger) Bachmayer in Medford, WI. Harvey served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War until his honorable discharge. He enjoyed playing cards, was an accomplished dancer and a very capable bartender. In Harvey’s earlier days he enjoyed watching his two boys participate in athletic competitions and cultivating his flower garden.

He is survived by two sons, Don and Dana Bachmayer, a granddaughter, Crystal (Reuben)Newport; four sisters, Arlene (Joe) Meyer, Marie Gorr, Ardella, (Joe) Glassie and Lorraine (Joe) Mokry. He will also be missed by his good friend, Ken Niemuth, numerous friends and nieces and nephews.
