Gidget Griffin, 62, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the Sheelin House. Gidget was born on October 14, 1947 in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest. Gidget loved being a mother and enjoyed her plants, gardens, her dogs and biking. Gidget is survived by her husband Norman Veillette, Appleton, three children, Robert Ciccone, Tamara Hanseder, and Timothy Griffin, her mother Rose Surratt, sisters Susan Slusarz, Helen Favello, Laura Abbett and brothers, Charles Speight and Thomas Speight, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service for Gidget will be held on June 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, with Fr. Donald Zuleger officiating.
