Fayette Koch

January 30, 1935 — July 10, 2016

Fayette June Koch “nee” Smith passed away July 10, 2016 from a long battle with COPD. Faye grew up in her native Oshkosh, born to the late William and Ina May (Connick) Smith. She was the youngest of six children and had the nickname “Ducky”. She married Clement J. Koch on June 7, 1969. They raised two children, Mike and Pam, in Kaukauna. She was a kind, gentle soul. She was an avid Packers fan and loved anything to do with football, Go Pack, Go Badgers, Go Irish! She was patriotic and had so much respect for Veterans and our flag. She loved to cook, bake, and was always trying new recipes until her eye sight failed her.

Her greatest love was her family, especially her three grandsons. She loved sitting and chatting with them about their lives. She was not one to give advice, but if someone asked, she would give her opinion. She taught us to always be respectful. She had inner strength, great values, and battled her afflictions with all her might. These are the things she passed on.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Pamela Heling, and Pam's husband, Mark and their sons: Eric, Rudie and Travis. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Loretta Smith, and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clem, her son Michael, her brothers: Lyle Smith, Ole Smith and Red Knoblock, her sisters: Geraldine Smith and Gloria Watson, her sister-in-law Margie Knoblock, and brother-in-laws: Gordon Smith and Ed Watson.

Per Faye's request, there will be no services held.

Thanks mom! We love you so much and will miss you until we meet again. We are glad you are now at peace. Love, Pam, Mark, Eric, Rudie and Travis
