Eunice Abendroth, 89, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at home. Eunice was born on August 12, 1921 to Walter and Alice Puls in Stephensville. She married Leonard Abendroth on November 17, 1939 and they spent over 50 years together until his death in 1994. Eunice was a wonderful and loving wife and mother. She liked to cook and also enjoyed her flowers and gardening. She was an avid baseball fan. Eunice was a member of Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church.

Eunice is survived by seven children; Shirley Krenke, Bear Creek, Nancy (Robert) Elliott, Greenville, Don Abendroth, Appleton, Robert (Margie) Abendroth, Fremont, Debra Abendroth, Lynn (Richard) Schnell, Fond du Lac, Ricky (Dawn) Abendroth, Sobieski, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister, Dorothy Forslund, and a brother Lloyd Puls, nieces, nephew, other relatives and many friends.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard, 2 infant children Joseph and Constance, a sister Ethel and a brother Mahlon.

A funeral service for Eunice will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at MOUNT OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH (930 East Florida Ave.) at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robert Raasch officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call on Saturday, October 30, from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the Church.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mount Olive Ladies Aid or the Building Fund.
