Elinor "Pat" Schuhart

June 10, 1936 — March 21, 2015

Elinor “Pat” Schuhart was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on June 10, 1936 to Joseph and Flora (Molinski) Wolf. She passed away at her Neenah home on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from lung cancer.
Pat was preceded in death by both parents, 2 brothers; William “Bill” Wolf of Neenah, Victor Berndt Sr. of Kaukauna, and a very close grandmother; Elsie Molinski Martin of Oshkosh.

Pat is survived by 2 sons; Derick Schuhart of Neenah, Jeff (Kim) Schuhart of Darboy, along with 2 grandchildren that she was so proud of; Sam and Grace, and the family dog Molly.
Also surviving is her sister; Shari Schafer of Oshkosh, her brother Gil “Jack” (Judy) Wolf of Virginia, and 2 sister-in-laws; Marilyn Berndt of Kaukauna and Audrey Wolf of Menasha, as well as 5 nephews and 6 nieces.
Pat was extremely close to her nieces Mellissa (Mike) Greco of California and Bobbi Jo (Jamie) Steinert of Oshkosh. She treated them like her own children and told her sister Shari, “The best gift you ever gave me were your two daughters”.

When growing up, Pat moved often because her father was in the army. They lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wisconsin. As an adult, she lived in Virginia, Mississippi, North Dakota, Arizona (where her first son was born), Germany (where her second son was born), and Panama all before settling back in Wisconsin.

Pat dedicated her career to the Stowe family of Oshkosh for over 40 years at Wis-Coin, K&D Enterprises, and Midstate Amusements. She enjoyed her job and good friends and customers that she made throughout her career.

Her best friend was Kelly Brodhagen. They met many years ago when they worked together at Walgreens and have remained close ever since. Kelly often took Pat shopping and out to eat. Jim Blake, a friend from the 1950-1960's, has continued to send letters and cards that always made Pat smile. And her dear friends Jerry Strauss as well as Judy Engen and her daughter Erika have kept in touch after Pat's retirement.

Shopping at any mall or specialty store from Door County to Milwaukee was Pat's favorite thing to do. She also enjoyed playing cribbage and sheepshead and was a wonderful cook. She was always fashionably dressed and had her hair styled every week by her dear friends at Kay's Salon in Neenah. Laurie still did Pat's hair even when she was homebound.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, March 27, 2015, from 10:30 am until noon at Wichmann Funeral Home – Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm.

We would like to thank all of Pat's caring friends, Dr. Okundaye, and the hospice workers that cared for her. She did admit, she was never a good patient.

Pat will be remembered for her class, her loyalty, her courage, and all the love she gave to those around her. We now pray that she is in Heaven with all of her family and will be watching over us.

We love you MORE!
