Dorothy Weigman

Age 81, passed away Friday, August 16, 2002 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Dorothy was born in Oshkosh on September 19, 1920, daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Hable) Reif. On May 25, 1940, she married James Weigman in Oshkosh; he preceded her in death on March 21, 1981.

Survivors include a daughter: Judy Weigman of Darboy; a son: Richard (Joan) Weigman of Katy, Texas and their children Kari (Michael) Snyder of Katy, Texas and Chad (Jacqui) Weigman of Houston; a son: James (Kathy) Weigman of Darboy and their sons Eric and Austin Weigman; a great-granddaughter: Grayson Snyder of Texas. Dorothy is also survived by a dear family friend, Pat Schabo. She is further survived by a brother: Harold (Virginia) Reif of Beaver Dam, as well as by Jim's brothers and sisters: Jerry (Dolores) Weigman of Denmark,. Rita Joosten of Kaukauna, Rosella (Robert) Petersen of Darboy, Bonnie (Ralph) Duprey of Appleton, and Joan Cozy of Naperville, Illinois; three sisters-in-law: Rosemond Weigman, Helen Weigman, and Jane (LeRoy) Heraly. Other survivors include many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James in 1981, brothers Leonard (Angie) Reif, Richard Reif, Donald Reif, Norbert Reif, and Joseph Reif, a sister Margaret Reif, and by brothers-in-law Don (Bea) Weigman, Bill (Del) Weigman, Norman Weigman, Leo Weigman, Ambrose (Matilda) Weigman, Joe Joosten, Bill Cozy, and Carl Weigman; and a sister-in-law Mary Agnes Weigman.

The funeral liturgy for Dorothy will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2002 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 2 PM until the hour of the service.
