Age 83, died Friday, March 9, 2001 at Langlade Memorial Hospital under the care of LeRoyer Hospice. She was born December 30, 1917 in Appleton, Wisconsin, daughter to the late Roy Beson Sr. and Layra (Duprey) Beson. Dorothy enjoyed knitting, reading and making gloves for the Elcho school children.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Pitt of Elcho, WI; two brothers, William (Rosemary) Beson of New London, WI and Roy Beson, Jr. of Sparks, NV. She will also be greatly missed by nieces, nephews and seven stepchildren.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Barney Klein in 1980; her son, David Klein in 1982; her sister, Julia Beson Johansen; and three nephews, Thomas Beson, Edward Beson and Peter Beson.

Visitation and viewing will be Sunday, March 11, 2001 at the FUNERAL HOME from 4 PM until 6 PM and again Monday at the FUNERAL HOME from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 12, 2001 at the FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Michael K. O’Rourke officiating.

A memorial is being established.
