Donna Mae Wood
Donna, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Combined Locks on February 2, 2006. She was born in Beaver Dam, WI., on August 31, 1932. On June 5, 1954, she married Kenneth Wood in Neenah.

Donna was known for her cheerful outlook, willingness to help others, and strength in challenging situations. She devoted her life to making a home for her family, enjoyed many types of needlecraft and knitting projects, gardening, and travel. She and Ken spent happy times at the cabin they built on Hannenan Hill in northern Wisconsin. She was a longtime member of the VFW Auxiliary, Kimberly Homemakers, and Kimberly Presbyterian Women. Donna was dedicated to her faith and the congregation of the Kimberly Presbyterian Church.

Donna will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 51 years, Ken; daughters, Kathy (Randy) Williams, Chris (Randy) Geurden, and Dawn Wood; grandchildren Kory (Jenny Couch) Keshemberg, Carissa and Lucas Geurden; great grandchildren, Kara and Paxton Keshemberg; mother, Eva (Bishop) Warneke, Neenah; brothers Robert (Jean) Bishop, Minoqua, and Ronnie Bishop, Chicopee, Massachusetts, and sister-in-law, Joyce Vitek. Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl, grandson Kurt Keshemberg, father, Clarence Bishop, Sr., brother, Clarence Bishop, Jr., sister, Patricia Johnson, and her favorite aunt, Jennie French.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home, 204 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly. Family and friends are invited to visit from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. The family wishes to thank ThedaCare At Home for their support and a special thank you to “Dana RN” for her compassionate care.
