Age 68, passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Donald was born in Appleton on December 18, 1937 son of the late Carl and Edna (Brandt) Zuelzke. He married Maxine Maile on February 21, 1959 in Brillion and she survives him. Don owned Zuelzke Real Estate and Insurance in Appleton for over 40 years. He was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton. In addition to his wife Maxine, Don is survived by his children and grandchildren: Terri (Randy) Behnke, Manitowoc, and their children; Daniel, Elena, and Kendall; Carla (Dennis) Fulcer, Appleton, and their children Andy, Erin, and Sam; Randy (Julaine) Zuelzke, Greenville, and their son Nicholas; Paula (Mike) Derleth, Eau Claire; and their children, Brett, Kyle, Lauren, and Max. Don is also survived by a sister Carol (Joe) Bushman, Appleton and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 4 P.M. Sunday November 12, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 S. Allen St., Appleton. Visitation will be at the church from 1 P.M. until the time of services. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

Don was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr.’s Guenther, Cheng, Swanson and Klingbeil and all of the oncology staff.
