Delores Goy

Delores M. Goy, age 82, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013, at Tri-Manor South. She was born on September 17, 1930, to the late Duronda and Helen Durigon in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Delores married the late Franklin Goy on October 15, 1951, and they spent 43 wonderful years together. Together, they loved to travel and spend time with their family. She worked for many years as a LPN and had a great passion for caring for the elderly. Delores was always very social and had a great love for both people and animals. She had a great sense of humor and was full of character. Her grandchildren will always remember her singing and dancing. They have a lot of funny stories and memories. She was dearly loved by her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.

Delores is survived by her children: Theresa Van Vonderen (special friend Larry Arnoldussen), Mary (Ben) Ortiz, and Franklin Goy, Jr. (special friend Brenda); grandchildren: Shawn (Laura) Van Vonderen, Terra (David) Swanson, Dustin Van Vonderen (Jessie Frizzell), Tamara Van Vonderen (Tony Weeks), Frankie Ortiz, and Nicole Ortiz; great-grandchildren: Arianna Gerrits, Sophia Swanson, and Ava Swanson. She is further survived by brothers, Joseph (Jackie) Durigon and Thomas (Danielle) Durigon; other relatives, and friends. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Franklin Goy; sister, Elizabeth (Donald) Newton; and son-in-law, Gary Van Vonderen.

A funeral service for Delores will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at the FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for Tri-Manor South in her name.
