Age 37, passed away very unexpectedly on Tuesday November 28, 2006. Dan was born May 17, 1969 to Arnold and Janet Babcock in Oshkosh. He attended Omro High School and graduated with the class of 1987. Dan also attended University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. Dan married Kelly Bongiovanni on February 18, 1995 and she survives him. Dan currently worked as a letter carrier with the Menasha Post Office. In addition to Kelly, Dan is survived by his daughter Hailey, his mother Janet of Oshkosh, brothers Dave (Jodi) Mrstik, Omro; Michael (Laurie) Mrstik Sr., Milwaukee; and many loving in laws other family members and many friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his father Arnold, and his sister Sue Ann.
A memorial service to celebrate Dan's life will be held at 11 AM, Friday December 1, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Menasha with Pastor Timothy Kinne officiating. A gathering with family and friends will be held on Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri County Chapel 3212 South Oneida St., Menasha. A memorial is being established.

Dan had a great appreciation for life and that was shared with anyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all.
