Catherine Mary Wierzba

Catherine Mary Wierzba, age 71, of Menasha, passed away at her home Saturday evening, December 20, 2008 surrounded by her family.
Catherine was born January 4, 1937 to Stanley and Regina (Wysocki) Groshek in Stevens Point, WI.
On February 7, 1959 Catherine was united in marriage to Lawrence M. Wierzba, whom she spent 49 wonderful years with.
Catherine was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish, Menasha.
In addition to her husband Lawrence, Catherine is survived by her daughter Barbara (Mickey) Roeland; two grandsons: Steven (fiancée Gina Patovisti) Roeland and Patrick Roeland; many nieces and nephews, especially Christine Abbott; and other relatives and friends.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Groshek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 noon, December 23, 2008 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 3212 S. Oneida Street, Appleton. A time of visitation and support will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in Catherine's name.

Catherine will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed.
