Buneda "Bonnie" Kiser

Bonnie Kiser, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, February 04, 2014 at her home. Bonnie was born in Fenton, Iowa on September 28, 1923, daughter of the late Rudolph and Elizabeth (Haack) Schenk. She attended the Appleton High School and on August 22, 1942, married Vernon Kiser. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing softball and league bowling. She and Vernon built two homes together, and Bonnie enjoyed hosting family and friends. She loved to play Scrabble and Mexican Train Dominoes. Bonnie volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, was a member of the Apostolic Truth Church, and enjoyed road trips to camping and fishing destinations across the country, but especially looked forward to Arizona and Florida.

Bonnie is survived by a daughter: Sally Oliver of Appleton; two granddaughters: Stacey (Gregg) Kuhlow of Menasha and Veronica Oliver; and two great-granddaughters: Michaela Kuhlow of Menasha and Dominique Kuhlow of Appleton. She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon and by a son Russell Kiser.

The funeral service for Bonnie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at APOSTOLIC TRUTH CHURCH (2720 N Kesting Ct. Appleton) with Rev. Ronald G. Turner and Rev. Aaron Soto officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

Bonnie's family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to all of the health care providers who watched over all of us during these difficult days. They include Dr. Mariano, A.M.C., our CNA Claudia, our nurse Mary, our massage therapist Meighan, the Grand Chute Lions Club for building the ramp, Debbie Daanen Photography, and to our volunteers Christine, Tom and Nancy. Thank you as well to family, friends and the congregation of Apostolic Truth Church. We will never forget the kindness you have shown to our family.
