ROMERO, BARBARA DIANE

Barbara Diane Romero, age 69, of Greenville, passed away early Sunday morning, March 29, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. Barbara was born on October 6, 1939, in Los Angeles, California to Evelyn (Gusman) Black and the late C. A. Black. She married Anthony “Ray” Romero on July 7, 1973, in California. Barbara was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. She was employed as an executive with Hewlitt Packard and traveled widely for the company. Barbara and Ray moved to Wisconsin in 2000 to be near her family. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Ray; her mother Evelyn Black; her sons, Scott (fiancée Jennie Alderson), Michael, and Steven (Sheila); her grandchildren, Dawson, Anthony, Jennifer, Chelsey, Breanne and Skylynne and her brother Michael Black. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME—TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 3212 S. Oneida Street, Menasha, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
