Art "Dino" Sanchez

Art “Dino” Sanchez, age 71, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Cherry Meadows. Art was born on January 7, 1942 in Texas, son of the late Teodoro and Genoveba Sanchez.

Art enjoyed many things; working on his classic cars, listening to the oldies, Spanish and Tejano music and spending time with his family. He especially loved listening to and impersonating Elvis Presley. He will always be remembered as a wonderful loving husband, father and grandfather.

Art is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Weber Sanchez; his six children, Juan Jose, Juan Arturo, Alberto, Ramiro Antonio, Laura Leticia and Maribel Sanchez, all of California. He is further survived by his three step children Doug (fiancée Amanda Reyna), Daniel and Derrick Igoe; his 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; his sister Antonia (Israel Sr.) Sanchez Acevedo and their 10 children; his brothers and sisters-in-law Don Weber, Carla All, Barb Havemann, Lori Weber, Steve (Chris) Weber, Carolyn Weber, Mike (Heather) and all their families; special friends Ann Leask, Royal King, Lynn Hanagan, Maureen Jackson, Kim and Tony McCaffery, Jill and Adam Dennis, Ulises Salvador Martines Bautista, and “Maddog” Louie and all their families; as well as his special friends in Texas, at Valley Packaging and at the Post Crescent. He will also be missed by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents who raised him, Timoteo and Maria Hernandez Sanchez; and two great grandchildren.

The funeral service for Art will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM the APOSTOLIC TRUTH CHURCH, 2720 N. Kesting Court, with Rev. Aaron Soto officiating.
