Ann Heindel

Ann Heindel, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center. Ann was born on March 5, 1928 to Charles and Jeanette (Macintyre) Hilgenberg. On July 22, 1950 she was united in marriage to Duane Heindel and they spent 64 years together. Ann enjoyed playing bridge and played since high school. She also enjoyed sewing and loved to read, especially historical novels. Ann was very active in her church and sang in the choir at Holy Cross.

Ann is survived by her husband Duane, five children: Steven (Roxanne) Heindel, Menasha, Catherine Heindel, San Diego, California, Louis (Mary) Heindel, Orlando, Florida, Jennifer (John) Trottier, Neenah, Charles (Jackie) Heindel, Sylvania, Georgia, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; siblings: Carl (Jinna) Hilgenberg, Poynette, Claire (Monroe) Schneider, Kaukauna, and Sally Tarala, Menasha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Mary Heindel.

The funeral liturgy for Ann will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the mass at church. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
