Age 92, died Wednesday, August 22, 2001. She was born February 9, 1909 to the late Deward and Matilda (St. John) Peterson on the family homestead in Greenville. Alice was employed at Kimberly-Clark for 28 years and a lifelong member of the Greenville Women’s Club. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting for family, friends and the under privileged.

She is survived by one brother, Gordon (Anna Marie) Peterson of Fond du lac; four nephews, Dick DeLain of Appleton, Jerry DeLain of Oak Creek, Doug DeLain of Appleton and Jim (Kim) Peterson of Fond du lac; three nieces, Dolly (Bob) Masterson of Appleton, Terry (Dick) Reynebeau of Appleton and Patti (Tom) Tagliapetra of Milwaukee. She will also be greatly missed by fourteen great nieces and nephews, eleven great, great nieces and nephews and her special friends, Laona Trauba, Grace McLaughlin, Bernice Greinert and Donna Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Grace DeLain and two infant brothers.

The Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 25, 2001 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton. Friends and family will be received on SATURDAY at the FUNERAL HOME from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

A memorial is being established in her name.
