Once you request the services of Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes & Crematories, we will immediately put our experienced funeral professionals to work for you. A single, dedicated individual will stay in contact with you every step of the way and guide you through the decision-making process. He or she will carefully explain your options, make recommendations at your request, take care of all the small details, and ensure that you and your family’s personal touch is always present.

Our Staff: 

Dan Densow

Dan is a second generation funeral director and has been licensed since 1980. He has been employed at Wichmanns since 1983 and subsequently the owner of Wichmann Funeral Homes since 1988. He attended UW-Stout, received an Associate degree in Mortuary Science from MATC, and a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch College.

Dan's community involvement includes: President of University of Wisconsin Fox Valley Foundation, Member of Appleton Downtown Rotary Club and Appleton YMCA, active at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church having served as it’s vice-president and president of Council, currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Appleton Board of Health, US Bank Board of Advisors, Board of Directors for Fox Valley Lutheran Homes, and Board of Directors for Selected Independent Funeral Homes Resources, Inc. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Fox Cities Children’s Museum and Appleton Area Schools Crisis Response Team. Dan's interests include skiing, biking, fitness training and spending time with his wife, Joanne and their three boys Dominic, Luke and Jake.

 

 Terry Wolfrath

Terry has been a Licensed Funeral Director since 1984 and has been employed by Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes since 1990. Terry currently serves as Managing Director of the funeral homes and is a Certified Funeral Service Professional. Terry received his A.A. Degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College, MIlwaukee, and his A.A.S. Degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Terry's community involvement includes: Charter member of the Pride of the Valley Barbershop Chorus, member of the Community Advisory Board for St. Paul Elder Services, active on the worship committee at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Kaukauna, volunteer as the Culinary Coordinator for the Center for Grieving Children in Appleton, and past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Terry was born and raised in Appleton and along with his wife, Linda, and three young daughters, they are active members of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. His family enjoys camping, boating, fishing, hunting and just being together. When not with his family, he pursues his longtime hobby of barbershop singing, as well as traveling to and participating in the various conventions and competitions the hobby provides. 

 

Debra Schneider

Debra has been a Licensed Funeral Director since 1991 and was named a Managing Director of Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes in 2008. She started her career in funeral service in 1987, is extremely passionate about what she does and has been honored to serve families at Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes since 2005. Debra received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Carroll College, Waukesha in 1989. She then continued her education and graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1991 with an Associate Degree in Funeral Service.

Debra's community involvement includes: member of the Kaukauna Lions Club, Kimberly area Jaycees and volunteers with the Salvation Army. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Debra's hobbies include staying active which includes tennis, walking, biking, and spending time at the lake.

 

Brian Hesterberg

Brian has been a licensed Funeral Director since 2001 and has been employed by Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes since that time. Brian received his B.S./C.J. Certificate at  U.W.-Madison,  his Applied Science degree at Milwaukee Area Technical College and is a Certified Crematory Operator by the Cremation Association of North America. 

Brian's interests include: motorcycling, bowling (member of the U.S. Bowling Congress), lapidary, disc golf (member of Appleton Area Disc Golf Club), amateur cosmology, and working out. 

  

John Breitzman

John has been a Licensed Funeral Director since 1978 and has been employed at Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes since 1974. He currently serves as Managing Director for the funeral homes and is a Certified Crematory Operator. John attended the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Worsham College of Mortuary Science.

John's community involvement includes: member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, Oney Johnson-Edward Blessman American Legion Post #38, Harvey Pierre VFW Post #2778, Sons of the American Legion, Fox Valley Vietnam Veterans Association, and the Grand Chute Lions Club.

 

Michael Keller 

Michael has been a Licensed Funeral Director since 1975 and has been employed by Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes since 1995. Michael attended the University of Wisconsin and MATC-Funeral Service Program.

 

Judi Gault 

Judi Gault joined our staff in the spring of 2001 as an Advance Planning Consultant. The former Administrator of Riverside Cemetery, Judi’s years of dedicated service in the death care profession provides our families with a wealth of information and expertise. As a long time Fox Valley resident, Judi has been actively involved with church and community. “As I assist families in the completion of funeral pre-arrangements, I have become passionate about the importance of facilitating the ultimate gift to one’s family.” 

 

Laurie Rohloff 

Prior to Laurie joining Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes in October of 2005 as an Advance Planning Consultant, she served as a Family Service Counselor at Appleton Highland Memorial Park for over 5 years. Laurie is a State Certified Agent for Burial Agreements and a Licensed Intermediary. Laurie has been active with the Center for Grieving Children since its inception in the fall of 2005 currently serving on the Advisory Council as well as the Fundraising Committee. Other than spending time with family, Laurie also enjoys reading, biking, and all of the home projects of gardening, painting and remodeling. 

 

Stephanie Freund

Stephanie has been a licensed funeral director since February of 2008. She attained her Mortuary Science Certificate from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2007. In the fall of 2008 she relocated to the Fox Valley area from Sheboygan where she joined Wichmann and Fargo Funeral Homes.

Stephanie's interests include: Playing tennis, volleyball, hiking, jet skiing, and just enjoying the outdoors. She is looking forward to serving the Fox Valley Community.

 

Molly Johnson 

Molly serves in the role of Director of Community Outreach and is dedicated to providing high-quality grief, bereavement, and older-adult-focused educational programming for the Fox Valley community. Her education includes a B.S. Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and credits earned toward a Masters degree in Health Education from the University of Alabama. She has seventeen years of experience in program management, public relations & marketing, and therapy dog training & ownership. Molly enjoys volunteering in the community for Junior Achievement, UW-Fox Valley, Winnegamie Dog Club, and the Bret Younger 10K event (Appleton YMCA). In addition to spending quality time with her husband and two children, Molly is the proud owner of three registered therapy dogs: Beamish, Dudley, and Madigan. More often than not, you will see Molly out and about volunteering with her therapy dogs, visiting residents of local skilled nursing facilities and Cherry Meadows Hospice. In her spare time, she teaches therapy dog classes in Kaukauna and mentors new therapy dog-handler teams. She plays competitive tennis, enjoys running, and loves to cook.

Cindy Densmore 

Cindy joined our staff in January of 2009 as Advance Planning Consultant. Formally a Family Service Counselor and a native of the Fox Valley, she has a passion for helping people. Cindy enjoys educating families by providing them with information that will help them make informed decisions. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in both Marketing and Business Administration with an Economics Minor. She is a State Certified Agent for Burial Agreements and Licensed Resident Intermediary. Cindy’s interests include: Volleyball, gardening, scuba diving, swimming, walking, hiking, boating, camping, golfing, softball, sipping wine, playing with her Australian Shepard, and spending quality time with her husband.
